ST Seeks to Purchase Ice Sharks

NHL to review Band's Bid.

Canadian sports television outlet TSN today reported that Rock Group Situation Tranquil is looking to buy the National Hockey League's San Jose Sharks.

According to TSN, S.T. "Very much digs hockey and would rather own the team than buy lots of tickets, pretzels and foam hands with #1 fingers."

Insiders say S.T. is ready to offer $127M cash plus a box of posters from the band's 1988 "Eating St. Louis" tour.

Band management has failed to either confirm or deny the news.

Band visionary KF Nibla was reached via a 2-way short-wave radio late last night, "It is what it is. I like hockey. I like ice. I like it all."

Longtime ST keyboardist Dr. Ralph T. Trash summed up his perspective. "I'm so glad to see the Irbe-led sharks beat buffalo at the cow palace in 1993's 2nd preseason game."
